A Little About My work History
In 1989 I started working for Dynasteel Corp. In Memphis
TN. I started as a welders apprentice. 1 year later I
progressed to a fabricators apprentice, I learned to
fabricate grain silos and metal stairs cases, and safety
ladder systems along with a wide range of larger projects.
I worked in the shop and in the field doing structural steel
erection and other jobs, never the same job. I left in 1996
and moved to Naples Florida. I invested in a bobcat
skid-steer and started Robison Land Clearing Inc. "I was
tired of welding or so I thought" After 2 years in business,
I was doing more welding repairs on other land clearing
company's equipment and trailers then I was running the
land clearing business. RLC at this point became Robison
Welding Repairs. The repair work over the next few years
gradually evolved into doing steel erecting and ornamental
rails, underground utility pipe welding, water cooling
towers etc due to contractors like Kraft Construction,
Heatherwood Construction, L&M Construction and others
that became familiar with my work. In 2001 I merged
Robison Welding Repairs with Robison Steel Inc. And
started concentrating on all types of Metal Fabrication and
structural steel erections. Due to the economy these past 2
years things have stated to slow down and I feel that a job
with an established company is best for me and my family.
So I am sorry to say that I have closed the doors on
Robison Steel Company.
